1 cup basmati rice (long aromatic rice) (or any rice.. but amount of water required will vary)
2 cups water
1/2 cup sliced onions
1 cup fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup peas (fresh or thawed)
2 tbsp sesame seeds (white til)
1 inch cinnamon stick
4 cloves
1 tbsp salt (adjust to taste)
2 green chilli (slit lengthwise) (remove seeds for a less spicy version)
