For the Family of Enthusiasts

Sometimes you just find a sport that rocks, and if paintball has your family bonding in a way that you enjoy, you might want to consider making it a regular thing. If you're planning on playing at least 4 times a year, buying equipment, paint, and safety gear is a viable option. The most basic gun kits (with limited functionality and durability) will start around $50, with the most high-end guns costing up to $2000 (not including additional equipment.) Recurring paint costs will run about $10 for a box of 500 paintballs. For your family to be permanently equipped for many months of play, expect to pay at least $350-600.
