We're talking less than $10 worth of supplies here, some of which you may already have on-hand.
1) Buy or dig out of storage a faux garland, the kind with thick wire in the middle. We bought ours for about $3 at a local discount store.
2) Get a can of metallic gold spray paint. Old or antique gold tone works better than bright gold.
3) Snap up tubes of glitter in both gold and silver.
4) Get out your glue gun and several glue sticks.
