It can't be denied. Something about the great American passtime of football screams out for...well, Mexican food. Or at least a rather Americanized version of it (we know...Velveeta's not all that authentic...), and that's what we loved about Finalist #4, whose party includes an all-you-can eat taco bar that's fast and easy to construct. And how could we resist a hostess who decorates her taco shells! Here's what the Big Game looks like at Chanda's Georgia abode:
5 lbs of ground chuck and 5 lbs of chicken breast.
Soft and Hard shell tacos
Bag of shredded lettuce, can of chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa
Make a crockpot of Velveeta and ground beef with tortilla chips
Purchase a box of cake mix and icing and make cupcakes and ice in team colors.
Use a vinyl white tablecloth and when everyone arrives have each person that is at the party sign in with their name and with who they think will win and the final score. And whoever guesses the final score wins the tablecloth.
As party favors hand out before each guest leaves a printed out copy of the winning teams logo with the date and time of the Big Game party and signed by the hostess. (Since you won't know who will win, you'll want to print both teams prior to the party).
